My personal opinion is that everyone needs French fries in their life. They simply make everything better and are the perfect side dish for just about any meal. These fries are made in the air fryer which means you can get perfectly crispy fries right at home! Using the air fryer for this recipe also makes these homemade fries so easy! It’s as simple as cutting the potatoes, tossing them with the rest of the ingredients and putting them in the air fryer! Speaking of the ingredients, there are only four! I believe that you don’t need much to make delicious fries at home. Four ingredients is all you need to give you that salty French fry taste!

How to Make Gluten Free French Fries

Step One: Cut the potatoes

Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. I have the Gourmia 7 Quart Digital Air Fryer and love it! Peel the potatoes then cut them into French fries. I like to cut the ends off of the potato, then cut it in half length wise. Then I take each half and cut thin French fry strips.

Step Two: Toss the potatoes

Place the potatoes in a large bowl and add the extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper over top. Use your hands or tongs to toss the potatoes so that they are evenly coated in the oil, salt and pepper.

Step Three: Let them get crispy

Place the French fries in the air fryer and cook for 20-25 minutes depending on how crispy you would like them to be. I would suggest flipping or moving the fries around about half way through the cooking time. This allows for all sides to get golden brown.
