What Else Will I need to Make these Gluten Free Fruit Sparklers?

In addition to the ingredients listed above you will also need skewers, star shaped cookie cutters, a cutting bored and a knife!

Are these Fruit Sparklers Dairy Free?

The cream cheese drizzle is not dairy free but if you leave that off then this recipe is dairy free because it’s just fruit! I usually like to make half with the cream cheese drizzle and half plain and that way everyone gets to enjoy them.

How to Make Gluten Free Fruit Sparklers

Step One: Prepare the Fruit

Start by cutting the strawberries in half and then set aside. Next, cut the watermelon in slices as thick as your cookie cutter. Press the cookie cutter into the watermelon and make as many stars as you would like.

Step Two: Assemble the Sparklers

Start by adding two blueberries to the skewers, followed by a strawberry. Repeat this two more times then add an additional two blueberries. You should have a total of 8 blueberries and 3 strawberries (halves) on each skewer. Finish it by sticking the watermelon star on top.

Step Three: Cream Cheese Drizzle

To make the cream cheese drizzle, mix together the cream cheese, honey and water until combined (I like to use a hand mixer). Add the mixture into a sandwich bag and cut off the bottom corner so that you can pipe it onto the watermelon. Pipe lines across the watermelon and top with sprinkles. Place in the fridge for 20 minutes for the cream cheese to stay in place.
