Making meals from scratch is cool but some days there just isn’t enough time or energy for that! That’s when you can whip up this Alfredo Pasta with Chicken Meatballs. It tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen when really it takes just 30 minutes. Most of these 30 minutes is the cook time, meaning you really don’t have to do much work at all!
Ingredients:
I have only tried this recipe using the ingredients and brands listed below. Therefore, I only know how this recipe tastes exactly as is without any substitutions. That being said, I can imagine that you could use a different brand of gluten free pasta or chicken meatballs if you can’t find the ones I listed below.
- Bell & Evens Traditional Chicken Meatballs
- Jovial Gluten Free Pasta Shells
- Primal Kitchen No Dairy Alfredo Sauce
How to Make Alfredo Pasta with Chicken Meatballs
Are you ready for the easiest recipe? Okay, let’s do it. Place the chicken meatballs on a baking sheet and follow the directions on the back of the box to cook them. If you are using Bell & Evans Traditional Chicken Meatballs like I suggest, then preheat the oven to 375 degrees and cook the meatballs for 30 minutes. When there is 20 minutes left on the timer, fill a large pot with water for the pasta and bring to a boil. Follow the directions on the back of the pasta box to cook. If you are using Jovial Gluten Free Pasta Shells, then you will cook the shells for 12 minutes. While the pasta is cooking, pour the alfredo sauce in a small saucepan and warm on low heat. Remove the meatballs from the oven. Drain the water from the pasta and put the pasta back in the pot. Pour the alfredo sauce in the pot with the pasta and add the meatballs. Stir until the pasta and meatballs are evenly covered in the alfredo sauce. Enjoy!
How to Store Alfredo Pasta
This recipe is best enjoyed fresh but can definitely be reheated as leftovers. If you are new to the gluten free pasta life, then you might not know that gluten free pasta doesn’t always reheat well. That’s one of the reasons I highly suggest using the Jovial brand as it’s the only brand of gluten free pasta that reheats well (and has the best taste and texture in my opinion). If you have leftovers, simply store in the refrigerator in an airtight container and use the microwave to reheat when ready!
What to Serve with Alfredo Pasta with Chicken Meatballs
I like to serve this recipe with vegetables, like fresh green beans or broccoli. You can find my favorite way to bake green beans by following the recipe here!
