Are the 3 Ingredients in the Chocolate Bark Gluten Free?

This 3 Ingredient Chocolate Bark is easily made gluten free by making sure you buy ingredients that are gluten free. I use Hu Kitchen Dark Chocolate Gems for the chocolate as they are certified gluten free and also happen to be dairy free. For the pretzels, I use Snyder’s Gluten Free Mini Pretzels. They are also certified gluten free and dairy free. In my personal opinion, these brands are the best gluten free chocolate and pretzels on the market!

How to Make Chocolate Bark

In order to make this 3 Ingredient Chocolate Bark, you will need dark chocolate, creamy peanut butter, gluten free pretzels and sea salt flakes. Start by lining a 9 by 7 casserole dish with parchment paper. Next, crush the pretzels into smaller pieces. I find that the easiest way to do this is to put the pretzels in a Ziploc bag and use a wooden spoon to crush them. Next, place the peanut butter in a microwavable safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute and 15 seconds and set aside.

Place the chocolate in a microwavable safe bowl and heat at 30 second increments until the chocolate is melted. It takes me about 2 minutes, but go slowly by 30 seconds to make sure you don’t burn the chocolate. Spread the melted chocolate on top of the parchment paper. Follow that with pouring the warmed peanut butter on top. Use a fork to gently mix together. You don’t want to mix too much because then you won’t taste the peanut butter chunks. Top with the crushed pretzels and sprinkle the sea salt flakes on top. Place in the freezer for 1 hour or until the chocolate hardens. Remove the chocolate bark from the dish and cut into small pieces. If you have leftovers (they never last long in my house), store them in the refrigerator.
