Hi, I’m Kelsey and I want you to know that you aren’t alone. I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2017 and felt so overwhelmed with how to manage this diagnosis. It took me years to feel like celiac disease no longer controlled every part of my life. As a celiac disease warrior myself, a Licensed Professional Counselor, 200 hour yoga teacher and a holistic nutritionist I want to help you find peace with your diagnosis and thrive with celiac disease.
How Can I Help You Thrive with Celiac Disease?
Were you told to “just go gluten free” when you received your celiac disease diagnosis? This is what my doctor told me and I have heard this countless times from others in the gluten free community. In my personal journey with celiac disease, I have learned two important lessons. First, following a strict gluten free diet is more complicated than it seems and takes knowledge, skills and communication to do so successfully. Second, truly healing from celiac disease, and therefore thriving, goes beyond what we eat. The way I see it is that following a gluten free diet is the foundation of managing this disease. But celiac disease impacts a person’s whole life which means managing life with celiac disease needs to focus on more than just nutrition.
My goal working with you is to help you feel like you again. To help you feel like celiac disease no longer controls you and your every day life. In order to do this, we will look at your journey, concerns and challenges through a holistic whole body lens by focusing on your physical, mental and emotional wellness.
Physical Wellness:
Physical wellness focuses on everything that impacts the physical body. When we talk about physical wellness we might look at things like…
- Nutrition
- Basics of eating gluten free
- Recipes/how to make your favorite recipes gluten free
- Moving your body
- Managing symptoms
- Learning to listen and trust your body again
Emotional Wellness:
Emotional wellness focuses on processing the emotions surrounding your diagnosis and life with celiac disease. It also includes learning skills to help you handle and adapt to the challenges that arise with celiac disease. This could look like…
- Working through emotions associated with your diagnosis (i.e. feeling left out, like a burden, etc.)
- Processing the feeling that “life is over” after your diagnosis
- Learning how to set boundaries
- Gaining the confidence and know how to advocate for yourself
- Learning how to connect and enhance the mind body connection
- Creating a self-care plan that is unique to you and your needs
Mental Wellness:
Mental wellness is all about mindset. How we think about our celiac diagnosis and life in general greatly impacts how we feel. Focusing on mental wellness might include things like…
- Taking a deep dive into your mindset around your celiac diagnosis
- Learning concrete skills to help you reframe your thoughts
- Focusing on how to choose to live the life you desire rather than be a victim of your situation/diagnosis
Depending on where you are in your celiac disease journey and what your unique needs are, you can choose from three different forms of coaching:
1:1 Celiac Wellness Coaching Call
$75 USD per coaching call
A 60 minute celiac wellness coaching call that is delivered via Zoom. During this call, we will focus on your current challenges with celiac disease, what thriving with celiac means to you and concrete steps on how to make that life a reality.

- You want a more personal approach to receiving support around your celiac disease
- You prefer to go over your main challenges in one sitting
- You want to receive a concrete plan on how to move forward and start making changes in your life
1:1 Coaching Call + 1 Month of Message Support
$129 USD
This option includes one 60 minute 1:1 celiac wellness coaching call in addition to one month of text/voice message support via Voxer. Messages are responded to within 12 hours on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends and holidays.
This may be a good fit for you if…
- You want the personal approach of a 1:1 call with the ability to follow up as challenges arise during the month
- You would benefit from accountability to follow through on the steps discussed during the coaching call
- You want longer term support that will include answering questions, trouble shooting challenges, discussing additional skills and receiving the encouragement to meet your goals
1 Month of Message Support
$55 USD per month
One month of text/voice message support via the Voxer app. Messages are responded to within 12 hours on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends and holidays.
