Crispy Breakfast Potatoes
In addition to being a great side dish, these crispy garlic potatoes make a delicious breakfast potato. I love to make them with my weekend pancake and bacon breakfast. You can also make a breakfast hash with them by combining them with some scrambled eggs, sausage, peppers, onions, salt and pepper! We love to make these during the week for dinner and then have left overs for our weekend breakfast. These potatoes last very well in the fridge and reheat easily.
Does it Matter What Air Fryer I Use?
The directions I provide are based on the Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid that I own. I love this lid and find it very simple to use. I have not tried this recipe with any other type of air fryer. If you have a different type of air fryer, set the temperature to 400 degrees and aim for 20 minutes, but check the potatoes more often because it could cook differently than the air fryer I use for this recipe.
How to Make these Air Fryer Crispy Garlic Potatoes
The best part about using the air fryer for this recipe is that it makes it so quick and easy! To start, cut the potatoes in half and then cut each half into four cube sized pieces. Place the potatoes in a bowl with the olive oil, pepper, salt and garlic powder. Toss the ingredients together until the potatoes are thoroughly coated.
Next, place the potato cubes in the air fryer in a single layer. Select the air fryer setting and set the temperature to 400 degrees. Cook for 20-30 minutes depending on how crispy you would like the outside of the potatoes.
Whether you add these to your next meal or enjoy them with breakfast, these Air Fryer Crispy Garlic Potatoes are a delicious and easy option! I hope you guys enjoy these as much as I do!
